I'm at work starving.. too bored/tired/hungry to even begin to blog about something of any worth or importance. This abercrombie chick walked in the office today. Tall, black. She looked really nice. Sigh.. too bad she's American. It will never work out...
Um.. (hunger levels increasing)
Have you ever been so hungry that you feel your stomach is eating itself? Thats how i feel right about now.. Friggin starving..
Random thoughts..
When i get this degree, people better respect me and pay me - i've been through way too much since coming to this God for sakes school/country (#rant). No, i'm not a terrorist, i'm a HUNGERIST.. Maybe even a starverist.. (ok, that was corny).
I would like to take this time to use some swear/curse/bad words.. however, cooler minds will prevail.. #passiveaggressive.
Aight ppl.. i'm out for now.

Gold coins
Gold may not be the most liquid of assets you could invest in. Lets look at it more closely. First off, where open market transactions are concerned people hardly, if ever use gold as a means for paying for goods. Those days are long gone. Now, credit/debit cards and cash are the primary means for paying for goods/services. Despite this, if you have some cash to set aside it would be wise not to keep it in a traditional savings/checking account as the fees/returns do not benefit you - the investor. Instead, something like a certificate of deposit (CD), stocks/bonds, or commodities (gold coins) would be a wiser investment.
Not only are the returns higher on gold coin investment but seeing that the economy is still going through some rough times gold is forecasted to continue increasing in value. Do not wait until the market rebounds and the US economy experiences another expansion.

Silver and Gold
Wait.. don't change your channel. This is not Gospel hour on BET. Sit back, relax as i give you a different kind of sermon. You don't have to give an offering, actually, this advice will help put money your pocket!
What's there to say about gold coins, or investing in a rich commodity such as gold or silver that has not already been said? Thing is, even though pundits continue to preach the gospel about how important it is to invest in gold, consumers/investors still prefer to take their chances in the currency and stock markets. Not to say that these aren't lucrative avenues. However, has anyone heard of a little something called a recession? The fact remains that whenever a country is doing poorly economically, commodities such as gold do well.
Gold will never face inflatory challenges because ... well, its gold. You can't go out and just make more gold, it's mined in caves. It's a precious commodity. The fed cannot go and print more gold to bail out a company or boost the economy. Why not? It's gold. Therefore, if you have gold, you have something a lot of people do not have. And you have a store of value that more often than not increases in value as time goes on (Unlike cash).
People, lets get with it. Be smart, buy gold coins.

Hot new hip hop
Like most people out there, i like music. I like many genres of music, needless to say that being a black college student who is trendy, good looking and athletic makes me a little bit more predisposed to hip hop than say..... classical music. Well, that sentence was a bit of a mouthful (no bono). All i'm saying is, yes, I'm black, and yes i like hip hop.
So, basically, if you're black, and interested in hip hop (other races are invited too, =D ) then i think you should check out hotnewhiphop. This site has been up for a while. They recently did some site renovation and now site navigation has greatly improved. Also, the site is a lot easier on the eyes (what were you guys thinking with the first site design?). Anyhow, it's a really good website. I don't know who runs it or how the handle user submissions or who selects their top 100 et cetera et cetera. What i do know is, the music is on point and the reviews are also good.
If you're into hip hop, you should bookmark that site. Seriously, it's worth it.

The stock market is down - Buy gold bars
Enough of this economic analysis. Why buy gold? For the mere fact that statistically, whenever the economy is doing poorly the price of gold soars.. and soars, and keeps soaring until the economy hits an expansion.
Gold of course has been a standard for doing business from as far back as the ancient Egyptians and even the citizens of Mesopotamia. Today, the United States gold bureau deals with the day to day demands from consumers of this precious commodity.
I implore you to not fall for tricks and misinformation from the public (government) driven media houses. If you're interested in making an investment that will always yield sizable profits, buy gold bars

More boredom
It's Monday, I had plans to spend the day with this girl i like and ish.. (lol) but due circumstances beyond my control that plan may be out the window now.
So... whats the plan?
I'm not sure, I generally like Mondays, there is a strange optimism that accompanies Mondays for me. Due to this, i am usually productive on Mondays. #randomthought.
I already sent one of my friends a link to download a mixtape I had promised him a couple days ago. Not sure what's next on todays agenda. I'm probably going to workout soon. Oh wait! I know, I have to cut up the thawed out chicken for my mom. I guess she is going to cook dinner later (YUMtastic).
My blog is so dead these days, lol.. I remember when I had somewhat of a following, oh well, thats what you get for a lack of commitment.
More random thoughts..

Random thoughts
As i sit here in the humidity that is Jamaica..
I wonder..
Why the hell have my allergies been acting up so much this summer..?
Why do i look so damn good? (I'm gonna be a model.. i know it)
Why am i feeling insecure as of late..?
Why are my parents so obsessed with BBM and Facebook.. (Yuck!)
Why can't men and women just get along, while having sex etc etc, like why must we fight and be jealous and misunderstand each other..
Can't we all just get along?
Why is a river so rich? (thats a riddle)
Thats about all the questions i have for now.. (why don't i have more?) - Lol.
Usain Bolt lost to Tyson Gay
Who cares? Is it that big of a deal. Lets put it into perspective. Usain bolt won the 100m, 200m and 4x100m at the Olympics, all in record time. His personal best in the 100m is sub 9.6x seconds while Tyson's best time in that said event is a wind aided 9.6 something. Tyson beat Bolt into a clear second position showing him a clean pair of heels - yes, much credit to him. But, Bolt was far from his best running a pedestrian 9.9x seconds. Congrats Tyson, i think you deserve, clean or not clean. You have proven yourself to be a worthy adversary, a good competitor and a gentleman of the sport. But, lets not get it twisted people. 9.59seconds and 19.19seconds puts Bolt as the class of the field and until Tyson or any other athlete gets a little bit closer to that (or even breaks those record) or defeats Usain on the world stage, Bolt remains the BIG MAN ON CAMPUS.
(Less nuh lingering next season..)

Gold doesn't inflate
I'm in my final year of school at a prestigious university studying economics (had a minor in mathematical finance - dropped it), so you may be thinking I have a bit of "know how" and expertise when it comes to global markets, finance, the economy et cetera. Truth is, i don't. What i do know, is that the more money that is issued, the less your money is valued. Inflation is the systematic increase of prices (sometimes due to excessive money, either from printing or other activity). When inflation increases, your money has less power, your wealth is somewhat compromised. When this happens, the value of Gold SKY ROCKETS. But not just gold, other precious or semi precious metals such as silver also increase in value. Gold is a good investment because it comes from the earth, and is relatively unrenewable (like diamonds.. but thats a stretch). Therefore, because of how rare it is, its value stands to increase more than it does decrease. If you have money in the bank, (money that you can afford to gamble with), BUY GOLD. It will not let you down unlike the stock market or currency trading. Whatever you choose to invest in, silver or gold, both commodities are issues in coin or ingot, that is - silver ingots of pure bullion or gold coin

Justin Beiber, Beiber fever.. BARF
Disclaimer.. If you're a Justin Beiber fan, you're wasting your time viewing this blog, kindly point your cursor elsewhere and *click* to the next page.
Yo... What's up with this kid? All i hear everyday is Justin Beiber this, Justin Beiber that.. Not that i really care but whats the big deal? He's the new pop sensation - yes i get that. But just like miley cirus, b. spears, N Sync etc etc they come... and then they go. Lol.
Ok, to be frank. I didn't have much to write about regarding the kid, #confession. But he does have a song out that goes something like, "baby, baby, baby ohhhhhhhhhhhhh" which is a bit catchy.
I heard he's coming out with an autobiography. The kid aint even 20 yet. Do you i guess.

Wiz Khalifa et all
Though the title says Wiz Khalifa i'm referring to the taylorgang don along with, kid cudi, j.cole, currency spitta and the rest of the new class of rappers. Love them. Of the lot, I've got to say that j.cole's lyrics are the most conscious, meaningful and any other synonym that fits in. Not to take anything from the other guys, Wiz Khalifa's "float music" is out of this world. Seriously, makes me want to go outside and get lifted (if you know what i mean) and kid cudi's instrumentals are and crazy mixes are much appreciated. Just thought I would drop a line to say yo... Luv you guys, keep up the good work. And if anyone out there doesn't know about them yet, you need to check them out.
I recommend these albumbs/mixtapes
Wiz Khalifa - Kush and Orange Juice
Kid Cudi - Man on the moon
J.Cole - The Warm up
If you're having trouble locating them on the web, just google search (with megaupload or mediafire in the search box)
Peace!

Boredom
Summer is now closing down and like most summers, boredom played an integral role in the daily happenings (or lack thereof) in my days. (Sarcasm) ...
Anyhow, like i said, Summer is almost done so all that free time is about to be gone, and like my mom would say "free paypa bun". So what next?
School..
Aye yi yi.... school is the 9 - 5 for the unemployed. I can't say that i'm looking forward sitting in class listening to the annoying monotony that a college classroom consists of, but.. its a means to an end (I HOPE!!!). On a lighter, happier note, I am looking forward to seeing my friends.. all three of them :/ Hahaha.. Fall 2010.. lets go.
Modeling and Movies
I'm planning on doing some modeling on the side, hopefully one of these headshots which i havent taken yet will land me a spot in a movie or commerical, stay tuned.. (i'm serious).
Anyway, i haven't dropped the blogosphere a line in a while.. soooo.. prepare to see more of me soon!
Toodles!
