Chest feeling squeezy
I like you but you are sleezy
I run and I run,
For love and for fun,
Like doctor seuss, i rhyme in short lines
like a country singer, it resonates - leanne rhymes
Had to go kanye on ur ass..

Interests rates affect Investment

The fed, (federal reserve bank), is the entity that prints US money (paper). It's privately run (and lets pray that it remains this way). Now, due to the fact the fed prints money, that means they control the price of money/demand for me. (Stay with me, i'm going somewhere with this). Interests rates and more specifically the rate which you and i borrow money is largely controlled by the fed. If there is more money in the market circulating the price of money drops, interest rates decrease. On the other hand, if there isn't a lot of money in the market, interests rates go up - the price of money is higher. So what? Who cares?

You and i should care. When interests rates go up, it means that the cost of borrowing money from banks and other institutions also increase, additionally, bond prices go up. All of this stuff affects our ability to repay loans, credit card payments, car notes, you name it. Everything is like. Including commodity markets and stock markets. When interest rates go up, data shows the stock market is more active, ppl trade more. Also investors are more inclined to buy gold as their commodity of choice. This is because gold is stable, and is hardly affected by changes in interests rates nor is sensitive to changes/fluctuations in inflation. Gold is safe. That is why ppl are so inclined to buy gold. It's one of the best investments you could make (somethinglike an education).

FNO - Fashions Night Out

I'm about to head over to the beverly center (and maybe the grove) to see what the big deal is surrounding this once a year event. Apparently it's being officially staged by vogue in cities across the world. The first staging, i assume, was in New York a couple years ago. I actually have the privilege of having a friend who used to work at DKNY in new york, so she explained the whole FNO buzz to me. (Needless to say that i'm still a little bit grey). Anyway, in cities like Kingston - Jamaica, shoppers can benefit from sales of up to 70% off store merchandise. Unfortunately, i'm not in Jamaica right now, i'm in LA. Let's see what the Beverly center has to offter (sale wise). If i see anything noteworthy i will holla at y'all.

Peace!

Hunger..

I'm at work starving.. too bored/tired/hungry to even begin to blog about something of any worth or importance. This abercrombie chick walked in the office today. Tall, black. She looked really nice. Sigh.. too bad she's American. It will never work out...

Um.. (hunger levels increasing)

Have you ever been so hungry that you feel your stomach is eating itself? Thats how i feel right about now.. Friggin starving..

Random thoughts..

When i get this degree, people better respect me and pay me - i've been through way too much since coming to this God for sakes school/country (#rant). No, i'm not a terrorist, i'm a HUNGERIST.. Maybe even a starverist.. (ok, that was corny).

I would like to take this time to use some swear/curse/bad words.. however, cooler minds will prevail.. #passiveaggressive.

Aight ppl.. i'm out for now.

Gold coins

Gold may not be the most liquid of assets you could invest in. Lets look at it more closely. First off, where open market transactions are concerned people hardly, if ever use gold as a means for paying for goods. Those days are long gone. Now, credit/debit cards and cash are the primary means for paying for goods/services. Despite this, if you have some cash to set aside it would be wise not to keep it in a traditional savings/checking account as the fees/returns do not benefit you - the investor. Instead, something like a certificate of deposit (CD), stocks/bonds, or commodities (gold coins) would be a wiser investment.

Not only are the returns higher on gold coin investment but seeing that the economy is still going through some rough times gold is forecasted to continue increasing in value. Do not wait until the market rebounds and the US economy experiences another expansion.
